TSOP Precision Vacuum Wand

The Intel TSOP precision wand was designed by Intel to help manually transfer TSOP packages from Intel shipped trays into Yamaichi programming sockets. The wand utilizes guide pins and a fixed head height in order to reduce manual alignments such as X/Y and height drop off thus, reducing socket misplacements and potential bent leads. The wand fits into guide holes in the trays and in the programming sockets. The wand and socket adapters work on all 32, 40, 48, and 56L TSOP Intel packages, so no changeover is required from lead count to lead count.

The precision wand is upgradable for use with 44L PSOP Intel packages utilizing Texas instruments sockets. Please refer to our production, prototyping, and test/programming sockets document in the packaging data section in our Flash memory components web page for specific socket P/N's.

The flash wand kit comes with a vacuum wand w/TSOP head, vacuum generator w/PSI gauge which operates off in-house supplied air (required), 2 TSOP socket adapters, extra vacuum cups and instructions. Ordering name/code is : flashwandkit/807908

Individual socket adapters ( included) are placed in each programming socket required. You will need one socket adapter for each programming socket utilized, therefore, we have created a Flash socket adapter kit which includes four additional TSOP socket adapters.
